Cooking method

Cooking time: 14 d 40 min

1. Let's start with the preparation of lemons: they need to be washed, scalded with boiling water and remove the peel from them with a sharp knife / vegetable cleaner.
2. Next, we will prepare the basis for the liqueur: to do this, put the zest in a jar, pour moonshine and send it to a dark place for 0.5-1 week, while it is advisable to shake the jar every 7-10 hours. To be honest, I didn't always do it in such a time frame, but the drink turned out to be very tasty and fragrant anyway.
3. Now let's start the main phase of cooking: boil the syrup from water and sugar (bring to a boil until the sugar dissolves) and cool it, strain the moonshine, mix these two liquids.
4. We can move on to the final part: the freshly prepared liquor should be sent to brew in a glass container for another week in a cool place.
We serve limencello cold in good company.
Bon appetit!
