Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 15 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to fry an egg in a bun? Prepare all the necessary products. Take home-made eggs, at least WITH - such eggs are not only large, but also have a beautiful bright yolk - and your dish will turn out much more beautiful. Bread is preferable to toast, square-shaped. But, of course, in the absence of such bread, an ordinary white loaf will also do. If you cut slices of bread yourself, then the optimal thickness is about 1 cm. Do not take too thick.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Slice the bread or take the already sliced pieces of bread. By the way, I recommend not using fresh, soft bread for cooking this dish - it will crumble when sliced. Cut out the circles in the center. This can be done with a small glass or simply cut a circle with a knife.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

In the frying pan where you will cook the dishes, heat the vegetable oil. It doesn't matter what kind of plant it was made from: corn or sunflower, but if you are going to fry something in oil, you must always take refined oils - otherwise they will burn in a frying pan. Lay out the pieces of bread.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the eggs well - it is necessary to do this, because the eggshell contains a huge amount of bacteria. Therefore, gently wash the eggs with hot water using a food detergent and a special brush. Carefully drive the egg into the cut-out circle so that the yolk remains intact. I want to note that it is best to use small eggs for this dish, because there is not much space in the bread and if the egg is large, the protein will leak out.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Salt a little egg. According to your taste, you can pepper them and add some of your favorite herbs or seasonings: ground paprika, Provencal herbs, garlic powder. Or maybe you decide to sprinkle the dish with chopped fresh herbs: dill, parsley and green onions will be very useful.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Cook the dish over low heat until the desired yolk density, preferably covered with a lid. Approximate time is 7-10 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
