Every kind of fish is something special, this is the beauty of seafood. This means that each type has its own nuances of cooking, this fact should be taken into account and in no case ignored.

As for the horse mackerel, it is a fish that has a fast rhythm of life. Because of this, its meat contains almost no fat and is considered dietary. This fish is rich in many vitamins and trace elements that the human body needs so much.

Horse mackerel is sold fresh and frozen. In whatever form we purchased it, it is suitable for frying. Of course, the ideal option is fresh fish, but frozen is also suitable. So, let's proceed directly to the cooking process.

If the horse mackerel is frozen, it needs to be thawed. It is best to do this without resorting to the help of kitchen devices. Just spread the fish on the work surface and let it thaw at room temperature. There is also a good option: in the evening, transfer the horse mackerel from the freezer to the refrigerator. It will thaw until morning.

1. So, we gut the prepared fish: using scissors, we make an incision on the abdomen, clean out the insides. We do this very carefully so as not to damage the carcasses and they look whole and appetizing when ready.

2. Then I wash the fish, let it dry. To save time, you can dry the horse mackerel with paper towels.

3. Dried carcasses are salted, sprinkled with lemon juice. Leave to marinate for an hour.

4. Pour the flour into a flat plate, pour the ground coriander seeds here. Mix it up. Breading the horse mackerel in the resulting mixture.

5. Garlic is cleaned, cut into plates. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, spread the chopped garlic here.

6. We send the frying pan to the fire. When the oil warms up, the garlic will release the aroma. Spread the fish in fragrant oil, fry on both sides until golden brown. It is not necessary to cover the pan with a lid during frying.

We serve the fish hot on the table.
