    Beat chicken eggs into a deep bowl, add a pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste. If you are going to make croutons from bread in an egg sweet, then instead of black ground pepper, add sugar to taste, the amount of salt should also be added to taste so as not to interrupt the amount of sugar. With a fork, whisk or mixer, beat the chicken eggs so that the mixture becomes homogeneous, the protein is completely dispersed.

    We dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, this should be done quickly so that the bread is not strongly soaked with liquid inside, otherwise it will get very wet and may not fry well. It is enough to immerse a piece of bread for a few seconds and turn it over so that the bread is in the egg mixture on both sides.

    Pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil into the pan. If you want the croutons to turn out with a pleasant creamy taste and aroma, you can fry the bread in butter. Turn on the fire. We put slices of bread on the preheated butter, fry the bread on medium heat until browned on both sides. 20 seconds on one side and 10 on the other are enough. To be sure that the bread is fried, cover the pan with a lid and keep on fire for about 15 seconds.

    The croutons are ready, remove them from the pan. We serve it to the table with tea, coffee or cocoa. Fast and delicious. In addition, the preparation of such a dish is a great way to attach the remains of yesterday's bread, which you do not want to eat in its natural form. Bon appetit!
