Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 2 hours
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the filling. Peel the onion, rinse and crumble with medium cubes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat, put the onion on it and fry until golden brown, add the minced meat, stir, fry a little, add salt, pepper, stir, cover and put out, bring to readiness and let cool.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Prepare the fill. In a cup, mix eggs, natural yogurt without additives, vegetable oil and water.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Take a sheet of filo dough (you can buy it or make it yourself, or you can use ready-made puff pastry, it will also be delicious), lubricate with impregnation and put part of the filling on one edge.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Roll into a roll. Do this carefully so as not to tear the thin dough.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Wrap it in a snail and put it in a baking dish, I have a shape with a diameter of 26 cm. I covered the bottom of the mold with parchment and greased it with vegetable oil. Do the same with the rest of the dough, impregnation and filling. So form a large snail pie.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

For a golden crust, mix the egg with yogurt, grease the pie, you can sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, it may take a little more or less time to navigate your oven. Bake until golden brown. I baked for 30 minutes in the top/bottom heating mode. Delicious pie with meat filling is ready, bon appetit!

I cooked such a pie for the first time, I really liked the pie. I made the filo dough myself, but you can buy ready-made or replace it with ready-made puff pastry or even thin pita bread, but still with filo dough, I think it will taste better. Such a pie can be eaten as an independent dish or used in addition to the first courses. It is very good when hot, and it will also be very tasty when cold. You can take it with you on the road as a snack. Minced meat, I think you can use pork.

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
