Kurzemes stroganovs

Latvian cuisine is full of great recipes! This wonderful culinary recipe for cooking meat in Latvian is named after a part of Latvia Kurzeme, it was there that it was invented. In fact, not every restaurant can taste such a combination of products. But, since Latvian cuisine originated in peasant villages, their food is primarily hearty and cooked from natural products. After all, what does a peasant need? I came to lunch from the field, ate a hearty meal, drank cranberry juice and again in the field until the evening. Here kurzemes stroganovs is just what you need for such a dinner! Cooking this dish is not difficult at all.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min

We chop pork and beef a little so that the pieces are softer, cut into oblong portions and fry in a frying pan together with the smoked loin. Chop the onion finely and send it to the pan to the meat so that it has time to fry, but not burnt. We also finely chop the pickles and add them when the meat is almost fried. Then we dilute a tablespoon of flour in cold meat broth and pour it into a separate frying pan. Season with salt, pepper and pour sour cream.
And now we put a portion of kurzemes stroganovs on a plate and pour the sauce. It goes very well with boiled potatoes. But, probably, with such dinners, you can forget about a narrow waist.
