Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

1. To prepare these simple, but very tasty rolls, you will need a ready-made puff pastry. It can be purchased at any supermarket in the frozen food department. In order to use it in work, it must first be removed from the freezer for defrosting.

2. Turn on the oven at 200-220 degrees Celsius.

3. Wash and peel the apples, cutting off the peel from them. Then remove the inner seeds and cut into medium-sized slices.

4. In a deep bowl, mix sugar and ground cinnamon together.

5. Melt the butter over low heat or in the microwave.

6. After the dough has become soft, unwrap it into a thin sheet (or roll it out slightly with a rolling pin).

7. Grease the dough sheet with melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon. Leave part of the mixture to sprinkle the rolls on top.

8. Cut the dough sheet into strips of the same size with a width of about 3-4 cm. And put a piece of apple on the edge of each strip. Then wrap each slice of apple with puff pastry.

9. Place baking paper or a silicone mat on a baking sheet. And put the formed rolls on it. And sprinkle them with the remaining mixture of their sugar and cinnamon on top.

10. Put the rolls to bake in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until an appetizing golden color.

11. Prepare a milk glaze to cover the rolls. To do this, pour the milk into a saucepan and add a piece of butter, pour in the vanilla extract. Put a saucepan on the stove and heat the mixture to a boil over low heat. Then add powdered sugar and a little salt to the saucepan for a balanced taste. Gently beat the mixture with a cooking whisk until smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat.

12. When the rolls with apples are ready, take them out of the oven and cool a little. Before serving, cover the rolls with milk glaze.

Bon appetit!
