Tincture of black currant on vodka

A strong aromatic drink is suitable for any feast! The tincture turns out to be what you need, and most importantly - quickly. A good option when there is no time to wait for several months. The tincture according to this recipe is of a beautiful deep color, and its aroma cannot be expressed in words, only to enjoy. By the way, you can cook it not only from fresh berries, but also frozen, although, of course, in this case it will lose a little in smell and taste. But you can cook it at any time, regardless of the season. And the tincture is stored for a long time - at least a year.

Pick the berries, wash, dry.

Mix water and sugar in a saucepan, put it on the stove and bring to a boil. When the water boils, you need to pour the berries into it and boil them for 3 minutes, stirring from time to time.

Remove the pan from the heat, cool a little and remember the currants well. After that, let it cool down to room temperature. Add vodka to the berry mass, mix, pour everything into a glass jar, close the lid.

Put the jar in a dark place to infuse for three weeks. Once every few days, do not forget to shake the jar heartily.

After three weeks, strain the contents of the jar through several layers of gauze and pour into bottles, close with corks. Keep the finished tincture cool.

Merry toasts!
