Have you ever cooked jam in the midst of the New Year holidays? And I happened to do it once. It so happened that a good friend of mine decided to give me a BAG of tangerines for the new year! Naturally, it was not possible to eat such an amount of citrus fruits, which is why I decided to take and cook such food as jam from tangerines according to a very interesting culinary recipe. How to do it? I'm telling you! To begin with, wash the tangerines and blanch them for 15 minutes. After that, we immediately put them in cold water and soak them in it overnight. After this time, we take out the fruits and cut them into halves and pour sugar syrup (warmed water and sugar) and leave it for half a day. After this time, we warm up the mass and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. After defending the mixture for 8 hours. After that, cook for 10 minutes and stand for 8 hours again. Cooking is repeated 4 times.
We put the fully prepared jam hot in sterilized jars, cover them with lids and close them. We do not turn over the cans! After a couple of days, jam can be eaten!
