    Step 2.

Chop the greens in any way possible (with a blender or finely chopped). The smaller the chopped greens, the faster it will give its flavor to ayran.

Ayran is ready. It is recommended to drink it cold. This drink is prepared just before it is drunk. If it stands for a long time, then the water will begin to peel off.

The whole Azerbaijani cuisine, almost any of its culinary dishes is saturated with spices and herbs. And not just food! In our family, everyone loves homemade ayran – a nutritious and very popular soft drink not only in the Caucasus. It is especially good to drink on hot summer days.
Ayran looks very pretty in transparent glasses, on a tray sprinkled with crushed ice. It is worth remembering that this drink should be consumed immediately after cooking, since water flakes off quickly in it, and it loses its taste qualities.
