Cooking method

Beat eggs with sugar. Stir in the milk.
Melt the butter in a frying pan.
Dip the bread into the egg mixture.
Put the pieces of bread in a frying pan and cook over medium heat until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Serve with honey or syrup or condensed milk, chocolate paste is also good.
You can also sprinkle the toasts with powdered sugar and decorate them with fresh fruits or berries to your taste.

Any white bread is suitable for these toasts.

Europe.
The Austrian and Bavarian term use "Pavian bread", after the name of the city - Pavia, Italy.
