Apples for such a dessert are better to choose hard varieties so that they keep their shape well and fall apart when frying in a frying pan. Otherwise, the dessert may have an unpresentable appearance.

Wash the apples well under running water and wipe with paper towels. Then it is necessary to cut the rough skin from the fruit so that it does not spoil the taste of the finished dish. Cut out the inner seeds, and cut the rest of the apples into slices.

In a separate container, mix granulated sugar with ground cinnamon well. Cinnamon will give apples a pleasant taste and aroma. Then pour the sugar into a large flat plate and spread evenly over the dish.

Roll the apple slices well in sugar on a plate, turning the fruit and covering them with sugar from all sides.

In a frying pan with a non-stick bottom, melt a piece of butter over low heat. As soon as the butter melts, put the apple slices in the pan, rolled in sugar. Fry the apples on one side. Then turn over and fry in the other side until a nice golden crust.

As a result, the apples are softer and will be covered with a thin layer of caramel crust. Then they should be transferred to a clean plate and let them cool down a little.

Ready-made apple slices with caramel crust can be served just like that as a dessert dish. Or you can decorate a homemade cake or some kind of fruit pie with them.

Such caramel slices can also be used for a very tasty and beautiful dessert. Put them on a flat plate, and place the whipped cream (or a couple of ice cream balls) next to them. Sprinkle the dessert with ground cinnamon on top. Or you can pour liquid honey or some kind of topping (caramel or any other according to your taste and preference). It turns out incredibly delicious! In addition, such a beautiful presentation of the dish can be presented for any holiday or celebration.

Bon appetit!
