Italian vegetable mixture in lavash

A great option for a healthy and delicious snack at home or at work! Various snacks in lavash are incredibly popular dishes. They are easy and quick to prepare and are suitable for almost everyone, because the filling in them can be completely different – meat, fish, vegetables, seafood. I propose today to cook a vegetarian version of pita bread with a filling of a mixture of Italian vegetables. I love this dish for its excellent taste!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

Rinse the mixture of Italian vegetables well (without defrosting), dry it on a paper towel and put it in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil. Simmer the vegetables for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add salt and pepper. You can also add chopped herbs, garlic or your favorite spicy herbs during frying, if desired. Remove the vegetables from the stove and cool.

Meanwhile, cut the pita bread sheets into neat equal parts. Put a little filling in the center of each piece and roll the pita bread in the form of a small bundle, leaving it open on top. These bundles can be fried a little to give them a golden crispy crust. After that, tie each envelope with a stalk of green onions.

Fragrant and hearty pita bread is ready!

Bon appetit!
