Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 50 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make beef stewed with vegetables in a slow cooker? Cut the beef pulp into large pieces across the fibers.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Now prepare the vegetables. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, cut into 2 parts lengthwise and cut each part into strips. Pepper can be taken in any color or different colors. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into half rings. Peel and chop the onion. Wash the carrots and cut them into medium-sized cubes.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

The recipe uses a multivark with a capacity of 700 W. Turn on the slow cooker to the Baking mode for 45 minutes, pour vegetable oil into the bowl and wait for 5 minutes until it warms up. Lay out the meat, onion and carrot at the same time. Fry until the end of the allotted time. During this time, meat and vegetables need to be stirred several times. Do not close the lid of the slow cooker.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

After 40 minutes, the beef will be covered with a golden crust, the vegetables will become soft and well tired.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Next, put tomatoes and peppers in a bowl. Add salt to taste and spices - I have "Spices for meat". Mix everything well. Activate the "Quenching" mode and set the time to 1 hour. Close the lid of the slow cooker. Stew meat with vegetables in your own juice - do not add water.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

40-50 minutes after the start of stewing, you can try the meat for readiness and at the same time for salt and spices. It is possible that by this time it will already be ready. If you want the meat to become softer, then wait for the final signal. Our dish can be served to the table!

Seasonings emphasize the taste of the dish very well - so be sure to add natural dry spices suitable for the occasion. By all means prepare this dish by following a step-by-step recipe that will help you figure everything out quickly!

Keep in mind that the cooking time and mode are indicated approximately in the recipe. All slow cookers work differently and even the same models of the same manufacturer may have their own characteristics. Before you start cooking a new dish for you in a slow cooker, carefully study the instructions for it, and then in practice try to cook dishes that are familiar to you first, and then new ones, choosing the mode and time individually for your own technique.

Keep in mind that the final result in this dish also depends on how you chop the carrots: grated carrots will turn into mush during heat treatment and mix evenly with the rest of the ingredients, cut into strips or cubes will retain their shape.

If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition is on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
