Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make chicken with cheese in the oven with sour cream? Prepare the necessary products. You can take fillets of any part of the chicken: breasts, thighs, shins. I use chicken breast. Of course, poultry meat needs to be chilled - there are much more useful substances in it. Sour cream is natural, of any degree of fat content. If desired, it can be replaced with heavy cream or mayonnaise. I still do not recommend using mayonnaise, because it is better not to heat-treat it

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Add chopped garlic to sour cream (cream, mayonnaise). I passed it through the press, but it is quite possible to grate the clove on a fine grater or just chop it with a knife.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, add half of the cheese to the sour cream and mix.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the chicken well, dry it and cut it arbitrarily. The pieces can be of any size according to your desire.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Prepare a heat-resistant mold for cooking. Take a mold with sufficiently high sides, because when baking, the chicken will release juice and it can flow out of the mold. Put the pieces of chopped chicken fillet into the mold.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Salt the chicken fillet. At this stage, you can also add your other favorite herbs or seasonings: perhaps it will be hot ground pepper or hops-suneli. Of the herbs, thyme, rosemary or traditional fresh dill, parsley or cilantro are the most preferable.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the sour cream sauce on the chicken and mix.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Put the remaining grated cheese on top.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Wrap the form with foil, but make sure that it does not fit snugly to the cheese, otherwise in the process of cooking the cheese will melt and stick to the foil so that nothing can take it away from it. Cook in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 35 minutes. About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, you can remove the foil if you want to get a ruddy crust. Or bake completely all the time, covering the mold with foil.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Serve the baked chicken with cheese immediately while the dish is hot. Enjoy your meal!
