Goose pieces in a sleeve in the oven

Try tender, soft, fragrant meat. Perfect taste! Granny often spoils us by passing poultry from the village. Recently, a goose arrived to us, which I cooked according to a special recipe. The meat turned out to be so soft and juicy that I'm just amazed. And the secret is simple - use a sleeve for baking: in it the bird will release its juice, and carrots and apples will perfectly complement the taste.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 25 min

The goose is carefully washed, divided into portions (I do not divide it into small pieces, but directly by the number of people, in this case - into 4 parts). Fat is not cut off - it is needed in the cooking process.

In a small saucer, mix oregano with basil, rosemary, add a mixture of peppers. Rub each piece of meat with salt and a prepared mixture of spices.

Peel the carrots and cut them into medium-sized cubes. Apples are washed and also cut into medium-sized slices (no need to peel, cut together with the peel).

We fill the sleeve with meat and vegetables, fix it on both sides (no need to pierce with a needle), put it in a baking dish and send it to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees.

After an hour, the meat is ready, we remove it from the oven, then from the sleeve, carefully cutting it.

Serve the goose with any side dish, very tasty with mashed potatoes.

Bon appetit!
