And cottage cheese is no exception. I have been preparing it myself for 5 years and have tried more than one method in practice. Most of all, I like cottage cheese from the oven, since its preparation is the least of all worries and troubles.

It is best to cook cottage cheese in the evening, so that all the excess liquid drains off it overnight. In addition, it is believed that cottage cheese is especially useful to eat for breakfast.

So, preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Choose a pan made of stainless steel or tempered glass.

Pour kefir and cream into a saucepan, stir well and send them to the oven for 45 minutes.

After the specified time, we take the pan out of the oven, let it stand for 20 minutes, after which we discard the contents on gauze folded in a couple of layers (I usually fold in 3 layers).

We hang the cottage cheese by placing a bowl under the bottom so that the whey glasses. We leave the cottage cheese in this position for 8-9 hours.
