How I love jam pies! The only trouble is that I can't get yeast dough in any way. When I once again complained to an old granny about my failures in cooking, she replied: "Don't worry, I'll give you one recipe, yeast is definitely not needed there!". And since then I have been a master of jam pies.
Mix flour with soda and knead the dough, adding pre-beaten eggs, salt, sugar and kefir to the flour. The dough should be homogeneous and elastic, so knead so that it does not stick to your fingers. Make a tourniquet from the dough and divide it into small pieces. Roll out each piece 5 mm thick and put a teaspoon of jam in the middle. Connect the edges of the resulting tortillas and gently pinch. Make sure that there are no gaps, otherwise the whole filling will leak out.
Put the pies on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180C until ready.
And now you can take your products to your grandmother like Little Red Riding Hood, or you can just eat them yourself. By the way, an anecdote in the subject.
Little Red Riding Hood is going to her grandmother, and her mother punishes: "Bring, daughter, pies, to her grandmother, and if she refuses, they say, the crisis is in the yard, the pension is small, you still stand on your own early, with jam for 10, with meat for 20!"
