Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients before starting cooking. Sift the flour through a sieve. This will saturate the flour with oxygen, which, in turn, will make our chocolate cake more tender and airy.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Important! To prepare the dough, take a high bowl, it is more convenient to mix dry and wet products in it. Combine water, vegetable oil, sugar and cocoa in a bowl until smooth. Try to do it carefully, without creating splashes. If you use a mixer, do not turn it on immediately. First, mix the mass with a spoon so that the cocoa and sugar become moist.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add the sifted flour and soda to the bowl. Mix everything well so that the dough becomes homogeneous, without lumps of flour. To do this, you can use a mixer. But again - only after you mix the flour into the mass with a spoon. With a mixer, you can bring the mixture to the desired state. And the condition of the dough will be liquid, keep this in mind if you suddenly turned out differently. Add a spoonful of vinegar to the finished dough and mix the dough quickly. Vinegar will react with soda.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

*Add vinegar to the dough last - this is important! Cover the form (about 20 * 30) for making a pie with cooking paper. If you have a prefabricated form, this will prevent the dough from pouring out. Plus, it will save the bottom and sides of the pie from burning. You can take oiled paper - this is easier and easier to separate from the finished baking. Pour the dough into the prepared mold and put it in the oven, already preheated to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes (approximately).

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Remove the finished cupcake from the oven and, without removing it from the mold, cool it to a warm state. This should be done because of the tenderness and softness of the pie. Otherwise, you risk damaging its structure and getting not a pie, but its individual parts.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

For the chocolate glaze, heat a small amount of milk to a hot state and add the chocolate broken into pieces to it. Mix everything so that the chocolate melts and the mass becomes uniformly chocolate. If the glaze is thick, then you can add a little more milk. This is the easiest and fastest way to prepare the glaze. You can cook it in other ways. Or you can generally serve the pie, sprinkling it with powdered sugar, or just like that.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Grease the top of the cake with the finished glaze over the entire surface. Put it in the refrigerator so that it cools completely and the chocolate glaze freezes on it. If you will not make the glaze, you can skip this step. The pie will be delicious in any form.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Cut the chocolate cake into pieces and serve to the table. Due to the fact that there are no eggs in the composition, the finished cake turns out to be moderately moist and does not require additional impregnation. To prevent it from drying out during storage, keep it closed in a cake box, paper, plastic or any other. And put the box itself in the refrigerator.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

    Have a nice tea party!

When baking a pie in the oven, focus on your specific oven, because they are all different. Here is the article just about that. My baking time took 40 minutes, and you can have 30, and all 50.

Flour also matters. How different wheat flour is, you can read in this article .
