Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to bake a Rotten stump pie? Take a set of products from the list. You can take any jam, even liquid, from any berries or fruits (maybe even vegetables). Make sure that there are no bones in it. I have plum. Only if you take blackcurrant or blueberry, the dough will turn into an unsightly gray-greenish color, keep this in mind.

In a separate bowl, mix the egg with sugar and beat well with a fork.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

    Pour kefir into the egg.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour soda (you can extinguish it additionally with acid, although it is extinguished with kefir).

Put the dough on oiled paper or in a greased baking dish.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Bake in a heated oven for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the mold. I used half of the components and a 20 cm wide mold. Take into account the peculiarities of your oven - it will take you either more or less time than me.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Carefully flip the cake and remove the baking paper, cool the cake. You can't cut it with a thread - I have large pieces of plum in my jam.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Cut the pie in half - if desired. If you don't want to use cream pie, it's quite ready to serve and so on.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Smear the cakes with sour cream - arbitrarily mix sour cream with sugar and whisk well. Serve the Rotten Stump pie for tea.

Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
