Cooking method

To cook the puffs quickly and they turned out delicious, you need to get the puff pastry out of the freezer in advance. While it is defrosting, you can start cooking.

First we prepare the products: peel the onion and garlic, and then finely chop the first finely into cubes, and finely chop the garlic. I wash the greens under running water, dry them with a kitchen paper towel. Then the greens are also finely chopped. You can use any greens to your taste: parsley, dill, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, basil. You can chop a mix of greens into a filling for jays.

Put the minced meat in a bowl of a suitable size and add salt and dry spices to it. Of the latter, you can limit yourself to just ground black pepper or put different spices to your taste. If there is little experience in combining spices with each other and with meat, you can use ready-made store mixes, which are called "For meat".

Put a frying pan on medium heat, pour vegetable oil into it and heat it well. Put the chopped onion and garlic in a frying pan, fry for a couple of minutes, and then spread the minced meat seasoned with spices. Cook the minced meat on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring and breaking the lumps of minced meat into smaller ones. Fry until all the liquid has evaporated.

Add chopped greens and taste the filling. If necessary, add more salt, mix. Remove the pan from the heat, transfer the filling to a flat wide plate and leave to cool.

We spread the defrosted dough on the work surface, roll it out. Next, we cut the sheet into an equal number of squares (8-12 depending on the size of the desired layers). We distribute the filling evenly over the dough pieces and roll up the puffs. You can fold them as you like - you can just fold them in half as in the photo and fasten the edges, walk along them with the teeth of a fork - for beauty and strength.

Cover the baking sheet with parchment, spread the blanks on it and put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes (while the oven is warming up). And you need to warm it up to 200 degrees Celsius.

The oven has warmed up - remove the baking sheet from the refrigerator. Break an egg into a cup and beat it lightly with a fork. Using a silicone brush, lubricate the puffs on top, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake the puffs for 20 minutes. During this time, the puffs will become a beautiful golden color. We cool them a little on the grill - literally for 5-10 minutes, and then serve them to the table.

Bon appetit!
