Shortbread cakes as in childhood

Make crunchy cookies from childhood! It's very tasty! Of course, I really loved these cakes as a child. Especially with milk. And now I'm cooking them for my children and they also liked them. I suggest you remember the carefree days of children))

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

1. Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk into a foam.

2. Add sugar, beat a little again.

3. We put sour cream. Quench the soda with lemon juice or vinegar, add it to the bowl, mix everything.

4. Melt butter (or margarine), pour into a bowl to the dough being prepared, pour salt, vanilla and mix everything well again.

5. Sift the flour, gradually mix it into the contents of the bowl. The dough should not be too steep, rather soft and elastic.

6. Sprinkling the work surface with flour, roll out a layer of dough 1 cm thick.

7. Now future cakes can be squeezed out of the dough. You can do this with a glass or special molds. The shape of the cakes can be given any, but given that the recipe has nostalgic notes, it is good to give them a traditional shape - circles with wavy edges.

8. Heat the oven to 200 degrees, sprinkle the baking sheet with flour and spread the future cakes on it. Bake them in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Bon appetit!
