Vanilla Shortbread Bagels

Wonderful vanilla almond flour bagels! She pleased my family and even her son more fastidiously. Vanilla bagels will delight with an amazing taste. They are similar to shortbread cookies, but at the same time they have a nutty-vanilla taste.

Cooking almond flour.

Fill it with boiling water and keep it for 10 minutes. Drain the water, wash the almonds with cold water. Pour boiling water again. After 10 minutes, peel all the nuts one by one.

Almonds are dried in the oven (100 degrees), without overcooking. Cool and grind in a coffee grinder into flour.

Mix almond flour with sugar, flour, butter, yolks, salt. Knead the dough.

Roll it into a ball, wrap it with a film and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. We take two baking sheets and cover them with parchment.

Roll out the dough into sausages (3-4 pieces) 1.5 cm thick. Each cut into pieces of 3 cm in length.

Now we roll a sausage 5-6 cm in length from such pieces. Bend the sausage with a bagel, and squeeze the tips slightly - they should become slightly sharp.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until ready.

Mix vanilla sugar with powdered sugar and roll vanilla bagels in this mixture. Let them cool down.
