    Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Scald the lemon with boiling water and wipe dry.

    In a deep bowl, combine all the dry ingredients – flour, salt and sugar, mix well. In another bowl, combine sour cream, soda, lemon juice and lemon zest, mix everything thoroughly until smooth. In a bowl with dry ingredients, add 100 grams of cold butter, start stirring with a fork, then with your hands and turn the whole mass into flour crumbs. Combine the dry and liquid ingredients and knead a homogeneous, slightly sticky dough.

    Put the dough in a plastic bag and send it to the refrigerator for 30 – 40 minutes. Take the dough out of the refrigerator, sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out a layer 5 – 6 mm thick. Form cookies with a cookie mold or a glass and place it on a baking tray, having previously covered it with baking paper.

    Grease the formed cookies with egg on top and send them to a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown, for about 15-20 minutes. Remove the finished cookies from the oven, cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
