    Then add the prepared frozen cherries to the pan. It is not necessary to defrost it beforehand. It thaws on its own when cooking. Return the pan to the heat and bring everything to a boil again. Add lemon juice. Boil the compote for 5 minutes. Then cover the pan with a lid and remove from the heat.

    Leave the finished compote to stand for a while so that it infuses and cools down a little. You can leave it until it cools down completely. In winter, we usually drink compote in a warm form. But in summer, you can additionally add ice cubes to it. You will get a wonderful cooling drink!
