Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 40 min

1. How to make a saury pie in a slow cooker? Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt, mayonnaise and sour cream, mix.

2. In the resulting mass, sift flour with baking powder, mix with a whisk until smooth.

3. Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into circles as thinly as possible.

4. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes.

5. Put the saury on a platter, mash with a fork.

6. Brush the bowl of the slow cooker with butter, sprinkle generously with sesame seeds, pour half of the dough, put potatoes, onions and saury, pour in the remaining dough.

7. Bake the pie for 45 minutes on the "Baking" mode, then, without opening the lid, leave it on the "Preheating" mode for 10-15 minutes. The time and mode are given approximately. Depending on the features of your device, the pie can be baked faster or slower.  Check the readiness of the pie after the time has elapsed. If the bottom is too browned, and the top remains raw, you may have to turn the pie over to the other side with a plate and cook for another 5-10 minutes in the same mode.

Focus on your technique, before you start cooking, read the user manual for your multivark model and individually select the cooking time and mode.

Serve the pie on the table after it has completely cooled down.

Keep in mind that the cooking time and mode are indicated approximately in the recipe. All slow cookers work differently and even the same models of the same manufacturer may have their own characteristics. Before you start cooking a new dish for you in a slow cooker, carefully study the instructions for it, and then in practice try to cook dishes that are familiar to you first, and then new ones, choosing the mode and time individually for your own technique.
