Diet pilaf with chicken in a slow cooker

A decent dish in a slow cooker. Try it - it's delicious! I have been using the slow cooker for a long time and I love it as a faithful assistant in the kitchen. One of the favorite dishes in it is pilaf. The time spent is minimal, delicious – to the maximum. I cook pilaf most often with chicken. It's dietary, fast and delicious!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 25 min

Wash the chicken, divide it into parts. Fry in vegetable oil in the bowl of a slow cooker for 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the vegetables: three carrots on a grater (you can cut them into thin circles if desired), and cut the onion into half rings.
Add the vegetables to the meat and fry for another 5 minutes.
Pour in the washed rice, add salt, add spices, pour in water.
Mix everything carefully with a special spatula and set the desired mode. I cook on the "Pilaf" program, but if you do not have such a mode, you can choose "Rice" /"Buckwheat". The cooking time is set automatically and is usually about 40-45 minutes.
Serve the pilaf hot, adding a portion of salad.
Bon appetit!
