Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the ingredients for the billet. In addition to fresh broccoli cabbage, we will use garlic and dill greens for the marinade. Dill should be taken fresh and young, so this preparation should be done in the harvest season. Broccoli cabbage is divided into inflorescences, thoroughly washed with running water, thrown into a colander and let the water drain.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the dill greens thoroughly under running water, throw the dill into a colander or paper towel, let the water drain and divide the dill into small twigs.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Garlic cloves are cleaned from the film, cut into thin plates.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

In advance you need to prepare jars for harvesting. We wash the cans with soda with cold running water and sterilize them in one of the usual and proven ways: in a water bath over steam, in a microwave oven or in an oven. It is easier and faster to sterilize cans in the oven. We put the wet cans with the neck down on the grill, turn on the oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes, if the cans are up to 1 liter. The lids are washed and boiled.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Prepare the marinade. Pour water into a saucepan. Add sugar and salt. Bring the marinade to a boil, put bay leaf, pepper, cloves. Cook the marinade for about 5 minutes. At the end of cooking, pour vinegar into the pan. When the marinade boils, immediately turn off the fire.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

At the bottom of the sterilized jars we put sprigs of dill and garlic cloves. Spread the broccoli on top. Pour boiling broccoli marinade, up to the shoulders of the cans.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Cover the jars with lids. We put the jars with the workpiece in a saucepan, put a cloth on the bottom. Fill with water so that the water covers the jars up to the hangers, not higher, otherwise during boiling it will begin to pour inside the jars. Sterilize the jars with broccoli for about 15 minutes, if the jars are up to 1 liter. Roll up the jars with lids. Turn it upside down, wrap it with a warm blanket and let it cool down at room temperature.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Then put away for storage in a cool place. Bon appetit!
