Without steaming, you will not be able to properly deploy them - they will tear at the places of bends. Take out the sticks one by one and unfold them on the board. Spread the filling on the inner edge, using a teaspoon, and roll back, slightly pressing the crab meat to the filling. The crab stick will grow significantly in breadth!
