    How to make jam from irga and cherry live? Irga, the berry is fruitful, but it ripens gradually. Therefore, it is convenient to cook it in a small volume, as much as you have removed or bought. Due to the peculiarity of taste, irga is good friends with sour berries and fruits. Add not only cherries, but also currants, raspberries, gooseberries…

    I like to cook this jam with cherries, we don't have fresh ones yet, but frozen ones will do just fine. Before freezing, she has already been trained, that is: the berry was sorted, washed, the bones were removed. And it is not necessary to defrost it.

    The Irga is fresh, it has just been removed. Therefore, the berry should first be sorted out, left only whole, without damage, and approximately the same degree of maturity.

    Then rinse the berry very gently, under a little pressure of cool water. It is not necessary to dry, just let the water drain.

    Grind a small amount of berries in a blender. Add alternately, alternating with a small portion of sugar, it will take about 1/2 sugar. If there are a lot of berries, it is better to use a meat grinder, only then do not add sugar, but twist one berry.

    Gradually add all the sugar to the resulting puree. Stir until smooth so that the sugar is evenly distributed. Leave it on the table for a while, until the sugar is completely dissolved. During this time, mix several more times. Then pack it up . Use disposable plastic containers for freezing, conveniently 200 ml each. Immediately put it away for long-term storage in the freezer. A small amount of jam can be kept in the refrigerator, but not for long.

From this amount of products, a 0.5 l jar of jam-puree is obtained, maybe a little more.

Even in the freezer, the puree will remain soft, it does not freeze in ice, which is very convenient.

Jam can be taken out and served with tea after a short time, used as a spread on a bun or as a filling for baking.
