It is suitable both for a festive table and for use for culinary purposes, for example, in baking. With a tendency to low blood pressure, it is necessary to drink hawthorn with cognac with caution.

First we prepare the berries. We sort it out (we use only whole, good, ripe berries), wash it, put it on a towel to dry, then transfer it to a liter jar.

Add sugar to the hawthorn, pour brandy and mix everything well, but gently, trying not to damage the berries.

We close the jar tightly with a lid and put it in a dark place, preferably cool, but not too much. That is, the refrigerator will not work in this case.

We wait a month and a half, after which we filter the liquid.
