Wine made from cherry leaves and black mountain ash

Surprise your guests with homemade rowan wine. Very fragrant! Rowan wine turns out to be fragrant, strong and with a beautiful color, but it is quite simple to prepare. Although it is long in time, but it's worth it!

The berries need to be sorted and washed, transferred to a large container suitable for fermentation. Now prepare the puree, just mashing, suppressing the berries. Add sugar and water, mix. Cover the container with a lid and put it in a warm and dark place for 3-5 days. Stir the wort with a wooden spoon every day - this way the fermentation process will accelerate.

Time has passed (berries should float to the surface) - pour the wort into a bottle, add cherry leaves to it (drowning in liquid) and install a water seal. We put it back in a dark place, but now for 3 months (until the end of the fermentation process).

Now the wine must be filtered through gauze folded several times and bottled. Put the bottles away in a dark, cold place for six months.

The finished drink is stored in glass bottles in the refrigerator or cellar.
