Dessert cherry in red wine with almond flavor

Please your family with a gorgeous berry dessert! One day, my godmother treated me to a very delicious cherry dessert and I decided without hesitation to cook such a yummy on my own. The taste of cherries boiled in red wine cannot be compared with anything! Try it!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

1. We sort the cherries from the damaged berries, remove the stems, mine.

2. We put the prepared berries in a saucepan, pour sugar.

3. In a small bowl, pour corn starch, pour a little wine (literally 1 tablespoon), mix until smooth.

3. Pour the remaining wine into a saucepan with cherries, send the pan to the fire.

4. Bring the contents to a boil, then reduce the heat to a minimum and cook for 12 minutes, stirring constantly.

5. Then add a suspension of starch and wine to the cherry, boil for another minute to thicken the juice a little.

6. Turn off the heat, add almond extract, mix.

Such cherries can be stored in the refrigerator for 6-7 days, and in the freezer - even up to 6 months.
