1. Fill the cereal with water. All the rubbish that pops up, drain. Repeat the procedure a couple of times until the water is completely clean.

2. Pour the grits into the bowl of a slow cooker, add butter and sugar.

3. Pour in the water and milk, mix.

4. Choose the "Milk porridge" mode and the cooking time is 35 minutes (by default, the time usually costs 1 hour, but this is too much, so we change the time).
