1. Peel the watermelon pulp from the seeds and cut into small cubes.

2. We put the watermelon cubes in a saucepan and fill it with water, send it to a very low heat and, bringing it to a boil, cook for five minutes.

3. Remove the pan from the heat, let the watermelon cool down.

4. Squeeze the juice from the lemon into a saucepan, pour sugar. Leave at room temperature for two hours.

5. Return the pan to a low heat and, bringing it to a boil again, cook for 5-7 minutes.

6. We lay out the delicacy in sterilized jars, roll up the lids and, turning the jars upside down, insulate them with a woolen blanket. We stand it until it cools down completely, after which you can transfer the jars to a permanent storage place.
