Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h

First of all, boil the rice, let it cool down.

Chop the cabbage, put it in a deep bowl and pour boiling water. Closing the lid, leave to steam.

Peel onions and carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrot. Fry in vegetable oil until the onion is transparent and soft - literally 2-3 minutes.

After 10 minutes, drain the water from the cabbage, squeeze it well, put it in a bowl, add the minced meat, rice and ready to roast. Here we break the egg, salt and mix thoroughly.

In a separate container, combine tomato paste with sour cream (60 g) and boiling water, add pepper and bay leaf.

With wet hands we form cabbage rolls, giving them an oval shape. We put it in a baking dish with a high side. Pour the prepared sauce so as to cover the cabbage rolls by 2/3 of the volume.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send cabbage rolls into it for 40-45 minutes.

Serve the finished dish on the table hot, sprinkling with the remaining sour cream and garnishing with fresh herbs.

Bon appetit!
