I make syrups with pulp and berries, and just fill the viburnum with sugar, but today I offer you a recipe for viburnum juice - try it!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 4 h 20 min

1. Sort the berries, remove them from the twigs, put them in an enameled saucepan or stainless steel.

2. Fill with water and bring to a boil, then cook for 5 minutes, then drain the water.

3. Squeeze the juice from the berries in any convenient way, for example, through a sieve, gauze.

4. Let the juice stand for 3 hours.

5. Add sugar at the rate of 125 grams per 1 liter of juice.

6. Put the saucepan with the juice on low heat, stirring, wait for all the sugar crystals to dissolve.

7. Strain the juice through a layer of gauze, then return it to the stove and bring to a boil.

8. Pour the hot juice into sterile jars and roll it up, let it cool in a warm place, and then store it in a cool place.
