Cooking method

Cooking time: 9H

We put a wide and voluminous container with water and sugar on the included stove. The water must be brought to a boil. The most correct solution would be to use a metal basin as a container. While the water is heating up, the honeysuckle berries, washed and cleaned of all kinds of twigs and other things, are put in a colander.

When the water gurgles, boil ten minutes after boiling, keeping a low heat. And now, ten minutes have expired. Pour the berries into boiling water. We bring the liquid to a boil again, after which we turn off the stove. A container with berries, water, and sugar dissolved in it is kept for 8 hours, covering the surface with something suitable. Any large and non-fleecy towel will do.

After an 8-hour downtime, we return the jam to the fire, and cook it for 15 minutes, stirring with a large spoon or a wide spatula. We get rid of the foam. As soon as it is ready, we pour the contents of the basin into jars, which we tighten the lids tightly on them, and put them in a dark place, away from the sun.Stretch the jam to your heart's content.
