Everyone knows that regular food is not suitable for feeding small children, and especially for feeding children under 1 year old. Everyone knows this, but few people know such recipes that would be suitable for this age. At one time, I had to put a lot of imagination to feed my eldest child, dairy kitchens worked poorly, there was no money, but the child had to be fed. So I turned out as best I could. Maybe my experience will help someone, but I want to share a recipe for porridge from flour, this is a good complementary food if you do not have enough breast milk.
Now it's not a problem to buy flour of the variety and quality you like, but at that time I was grinding cereals with a coffee grinder, and then I cooked porridge from what turned out. Put a saucepan with half the water on the fire, and in the remaining half, dilute the flour so that there are no lumps. When the water boils, pour the diluted flour into it. Boil for a few minutes, but it is necessary to stir without stopping - it has the property of burning. Pour the milk, bring to a boil and add sugar syrup. It can be cooked from 200 gr. sugar and 250 gr. water, bring to a boil, strain and pour into a sterile jar. If you want, you can add a couple of egg yolks to this porridge.
