Sbiten honey

Russian drink will warm you up in winter, give you strength, and boost your mood! On the honey spas, I traditionally prepare for myself, my family and relatives an old Russian soft drink - sbiten honey. They drink it necessarily hot and usually in the fresh air. But we deviate a little from the usual traditions and use it just during or after a meal - a family lunch or dinner. Now I will share with you a simple culinary recipe of this soft drink.

We begin its preparation with the fact that we dilute 150 grams of honey in one glass of water, bring the mass to a boil, removing the foam. Now mix 100 grams of granulated sugar also in one glass of water and also bring to a boil. After that, we combine the two syrups together and carefully boil the now single mass over very low heat for about 5-10 minutes so that part of the water evaporates. Now we put the prepared spices and herbs in a liter of water and cook this mixture for about 10 minutes after boiling, after which we combine this mass, removing spices and herbs, with syrup, mix and let it brew.
