November is the feijoa season, which doesn't last very long. To stock up on the delicious green fruits, you need to hurry up. The culinary recipe for feijoa jam was dictated to me by a neighbor. The process of making jam will take only half an hour and the minimum amount of products for cooking is required – feijoa and sugar. Such sweet food goes well with pancakes, pancakes, cheesecakes. I also add this jam to the cottage cheese, it turns out a very tasty and healthy fruit curd. We wash the Feijoa in water and cut off the tips. Brown spots on the fruits are a sign of their ripeness, so do not cut them off. The prepared fruits are passed through a meat grinder or crushed with a blender. The degree of grinding depends on your taste. Add granulated sugar to the crushed fruits and mix these components thoroughly. Let the boiled mass stand for a while so that the sugar crystals completely dissolve. The feijoa jam is ready. If you plan to store jam, then sterilize the jars and close them tightly. The time of sterilization depends on the volume of cans.
