Boiled pasta with cheese and ham sauce

A delicious dish for a simple lunch. You can do it at least every day! I read this recipe from a popular magazine. And since then I have stopped cooking my usual pasta. Now it's my signature dish!

So. First you need to boil the pasta in salted water. Then drain the water into them, and mix with vegetable oil. Leave it aside.
Then take the ham, cut into strips. Melt the butter, fry the ham on it (no more than two minutes). Add the chopped garlic to the same place, fry for another minute, stirring constantly. Then add the mixture to the previously boiled spaghetti. Put it in the heat.
In another saucepan, mix the yolks, cheese and cream. Put on low heat until thickened. But do not bring to a boil, otherwise the eggs will curdle. Season the sauce with salt, mix it with spaghetti and ham. Leave some sauce – you will pour it over the spaghetti in plates when serving.
And before serving, sprinkle the dishes with grated cheese and chopped herbs.
