In a small saucepan, dissolve the melted butter, warm turmeric and black mustard seeds in it (optional, but black mustard seeds will give the dish a special pleasant taste). Put the rice in the hot oil, warm it up a little, stirring constantly. The seeds will absorb a certain amount of oil and become translucent.
Very carefully you need to pour boiling water into the oil rice. First pour in 1-2 tablespoons of water, it will spread over the bottom of the pan, then gradually pour in the rest of the water. If you pour everything at once, the rice will boil violently and can be sprinkled with boiling water with oil.
Add salt to the rice, reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
