Prepare the products according to the list.

    Step 2.

Pour a liter of pomegranate juice into a saucepan. Do not add water. We put it on a small fire. On the electric hob, I always cook it on mode 3 (out of nine). Do not add sugar.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Then we cut the orange, lemon and lime into circles and put three pieces of each citrus in a saucepan with mulled wine, add allspice, cloves, vanilla stick and star anise. Then all this languishes on a small fire for 50-60 minutes. In no case should the juice be allowed to boil or begin to boil ("bubble"). In this case, the whole drink will be irretrievably spoiled.

The word "mulled wine" comes from the German glühender Wein (abbreviated Glühwein) — "hot wine". Traditionally, this drink was a heated wine with spices, but now there are many variations — including non-alcoholic ones that are suitable even for children.
Since I don't drink alcohol from the word "in general", but at one time I loved fragrant hot mulled wines, I started looking for recipes for a non-alcoholic version of this drink and trying different variations on different juices. For myself, I chose mulled wine with pomegranate juice as the best. The drink turns out to have a very rich taste, sweet, tart due to spices and citrus fruits.
In almost all recipes, cinnamon and cloves are added to mulled wine, often star anise and citrus fruits, sometimes ginger and honey. It is better not to use ground spices, since in this case the drink will turn cloudy and it will be difficult to filter it.
This drink should be used with caution for people with gastrointestinal tract problems (since pomegranate juice is not diluted with water in it, and citrus fruits and spices are also present) and people with food allergies to the components specified in the composition.
You can write about the benefits of each component for a very long time and a lot, but together they give a really useful, mega-saturated drink with useful substances.
