Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 h 15 min

1. Wash the peas thoroughly, pouring water a couple of times, until we remove all the litter and dust. Soak clean peas in water and leave for an hour.

2.Put the swollen peas in a saucepan, fill with warm water. Cook until boiling over high heat, and then turn down the heat and simmer the peas for about 40 minutes.

3. We do not waste time in vain, while the mashed potatoes are cooking, we will do the frying: peel the onions and carrots, wash them. Grate the carrots, and cut the onion into small cubes. Fry the vegetables in vegetable oil until soft and add to the peas.

4. Add salt and pepper, remove the pan from the heat and bring the puree to a homogeneous consistency using an immersion blender.

5. Chop the smoked ribs into small pieces, which we add to each serving when serving.
