Rosehip soup

This wonderful soup, in fact, hides an amazing taste and benefits. I present to you a recipe for a classic Swedish dessert – rosehip soup. Due to the fact that rosehip contains a lot of vitamin C, the soup has a rich red hue. It is pleasant to enjoy its original taste not only in the summer outdoors, but also on cold winter evenings. And if you add a few almond cookies to the rosehip soup or thinly sliced almonds, a little whipped cream, then the dish can rightfully be considered festive.

So, to begin with, I soak the rosehip for several hours in 0.5 liters of water. Then I boil it in the same water for about half an hour so that the fruits become soft. By the way, the cooking time depends on the thickness of the fruit. Boiled rose hips are whipped in a blender and rubbed through a sieve. I boil the remaining 0.5 liters of water. I mix starch and a little cold water. I beat the mixture together with water and boil it again. I add sugar and crushed rosehip there. Other seasonings to taste. Dessert is ready. Please your family and friends with it! Bon appetit!
