Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 8 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Pour flour on the work surface with a slide, make a hole in it, and gradually pour in eggs beaten with salt and soda, kneading the dough. The dough should not be sticky and soft. Remove the kneaded dough into the bag for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Divide the dough into 2 parts, and roll out each part thinly on a floured table. The rolled sheets should be removed to the side, so that they dry up a little (10-15 minutes, and so that the draft does not fall on them). But don't overdo it. Otherwise, it will be difficult to cut later, the dough will be brittle.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Cut the rolled sheets into strips 5 cm wide. Fold the strips in half, and put three strips on top of each other, sprinkling a little flour between them (so that they do not stick together)

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Cut thin noodles from strips, scatter them on the table. In a cauldron, heat the vegetable oil, and in parts, in small batches (about a handful), quickly (over medium heat), fry the noodles. Fry for literally 1-2 minutes, stirring a couple of times. Just a little gilded "noodles" immediately remove with a slotted spoon, and put it in a cup on a paper kitchen napkin so that it absorbs all the excess fat. Do not overcook the noodles, they should be light golden in color.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

After the noodles are fried, let's do the syrup. We prepare the syrup in another dry cauldron, or any other thick-walled dish. Pour 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of sugar into the cauldron, heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly, let it boil for three minutes, turn off the fire. Dip almonds into hot honey with a slotted spoon and take it out in a separate bowl, almonds will be useful for decorating chak-chak.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Remove paper napkins from the cup with fried noodles, pour hot honey syrup over the noodles, and gently mix first with two wooden or silicone spatulas, then with hands moistened with cold water. Mix carefully so as not to break and not to crumple the noodles. Don't get burned, the syrup is hot!

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Sprinkle cold water on the plate on which you will spread the chuck-chuck. And quickly, before the syrup cools down, we spread the chuck-chuck on a plate, forming a slide. It is important to do everything quickly, otherwise, if the syrup cools down, nothing will stick together. When you form the slide, do not press it hard.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Decorate immediately with honey almonds. You can decorate with walnuts, raisins, colorful candies (such as "pebbles"), some colorful sprinkles, here is a full flight of fantasies and a matter of taste. We put the finished chuck-chuck in the closet, and let it stand until the next day, so that it grabs well.
