  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking. Puff pastry will use yeast. It can be prepared at home by yourself, but it is much more convenient and faster to buy ready-made. It is usually sold frozen. Therefore, it must be thawed at room temperature. To defrost, place the dough on a floured table and cover it with a film. Why cover with a film? this is necessary so that it does not dry out.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

For cheese filling, suluguni cheese is the most delicious. Grate it on a fine grater. Break the egg into a separate bowl and shake with a whisk.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Pour a couple of tablespoons of egg into a small bowl. It will be useful for us to lubricate samsa. Add the remaining egg to the grated cheese and mix everything together. If necessary, the filling can be slightly salted.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Roll out the defrosted puff pastry a little on a table sprinkled with flour. Cut the dough into squares.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put some cheese filling in the center of each square. Pinch the edges of the dough in such a way that you get a triangle.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Turn all the pinched seams down.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Cover the baking tray with cooking paper and put the prepared samsa on it. Cover with a towel and leave to stand in a warm place for 10-15 minutes. Considering that we use yeast dough, it should be given time for proofing. After standing in the warmth, samsa will come up a little.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Before baking, lubricate the entire surface of the samsa with an egg, which was cast from the total mass. Then sprinkle with a small amount of sesame seeds. Put the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25-30 minutes. Be guided by your oven.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

The finished pastry will become an appetizing, golden color. Remove the baking sheet and the oven and cool slightly. Samsa with cheese is very tasty both hot and cold. Have a nice treat!
