Lean pasties with potatoes

Delicious ruddy chebureks, great for fasting. Lean chebureks can be prepared with different fillings. Potatoes can be cooked when the dough is kneaded. For the dough, you will need flour of the highest grade. It is recommended to fry the onion and add it to the filling along with the remaining oil. Pasties with potatoes can be served with soup, pickle or just with a cup of tea.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min

1. Peel the potatoes and boil until soft. Sift the wheat flour. Add salt and black pepper to the flour, mix.
2. Pour slightly warm water into the flour and knead a thick dough.
3. Finely chop the onion, fry until golden brown.
4. Mash boiled potatoes in mashed potatoes and combine with onions, mix. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
5. From the dough , roll out tortillas with a diameter of about 10 cm . Put the potato filling on one edge. Cover the filling with dough, pinch the edge with a fork.
6. Fry the pasties in oil on both sides until golden brown. Serve to the table in a warm form. Bon appetit!
