Cooking method

Turn on the oven to warm up to 200 degrees Celsius, and at this time we prepare the products:

- wash and peel the carrots, finely cut them into cubes,

- peel onions and garlic, cut onions as well as carrots into cubes, chop garlic with a grater or press,

- my celery, cut it into small cubes,

- mine and dry the leaves of Savoy cabbage, while we put them in a bowl and put them aside,

- mine, dry and finely chop the basil,

- peel tomatoes and cut into cubes,

- three cheddar on a coarse grater.

Now we go directly to cooking:

1. Pour olive oil into a large saucepan, heat it over medium heat, then put chopped onions, carrots, celery in the oil. Do not forget to mix from time to time. Cook them until soft, then add garlic and fry all together, stirring, for another 2 minutes.

2. Now put the minced meat in the frying pan, add heat & nbsp; fry everything together with stirring for 6 minutes (until slightly golden).

3. Add tomato sauce and rice to the pan, mix well, warm up for 2 minutes. Then remove the pan from the stove to cool.

4. Preparing the sauce. Heat olive oil in another frying pan. Heating is average. Put the onion in the oil, fry it for 3-4 minutes (until soft), then put the garlic and cook everything together for another 1 minute. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, mix everything. Cook everything together for 10 minutes, reduce the heat a little. After we put the basil, mix and remove the pan from the heat.

5. We put a large pot of salted water on the fire (3-4 liters will be enough), bring it to a boil, then lower the leaves of Savoy cabbage into the water. We cook them for 2 minutes, after which we remove them from the pan and lower them into ice water.We put them aside so that they dry out a little.

6. After that, we put the stuffing of minced meat and rice on each leaf (2 tablespoons each), fold it so that the joint of the leaves is at the bottom.

7. Take a baking dish and put half of the prepared sauce on its bottom. On top of it, we carefully lay out cabbage rolls. Pour the remaining sauce on top. Sprinkle cheddar on top.

8. Put the mold in the oven for half an hour (the cabbage should become soft and the cheese should melt).
